Post-Secondary Access Coach

The post-secondary access coach is a member of the Wyman Leaders Program team and is responsible for coordinating and managing high school programming with Wyman Leaders program participants, including coaching, school-year events, providing resources, and academic tools and supports. This role supports the coordination of year-round activities across the Wyman Leaders team in order to create a seamless multi-year program for participating teens. This role includes summer travel and lodging at postsecondary institutions as well as evening and weekend post-secondary showcases throughout the year.

Location: We are hiring for two specialists. One will work within the University City School District with our Brittany Woods Middle School team, and one will work within the Ferguson Florissant School District (FFSD) at Wedgwood and Johnson Wabash 6th Grade Centers with our FFSD team

Join our team! Wyman is looking for committed, youth-focused individuals who are excited about providing social and emotional learning support to middle school teens in a school environment.

Wyman’s nationally recognized Teen Outreach Program features community service learning, which helps teens build skills, develop a positive sense of self, and make connections to their world. As a result, TOP specialists empower teens to build educational success, life and leadership skills, and healthy behaviors and relationships to help them thrive. The program is supported by Wyman’s Research and Learning team, which ensures the program is utilizing the latest research in youth development best practices, and high quality program evaluation.

TOP Specialists implement the program consistent with the best practice “Wyman Teen Outreach Program” approach; directly implements the program to assigned students; supports effective integration of the program into the partner site; coordinates quality integration of community service learning opportunities; is responsible for maintaining costs within the approved site budget(s); and supports the evaluation and continual quality improvement of the program.

Qualified individuals will have a Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, social work, or a related field. 2-4 years of youth program delivery within a school setting is preferred (minimum of 1 year required).

Spend your summer at Wyman, have fun in the sun, and facilitate memorable experiences for youth! We are currently seeking lifeguards to work Memorial Day – Labor Day at our beautiful Eureka campus. Flexible scheduling: 10-20 hours per week available in June and 20-30 hours per week available in July and August.

Job Type: Seasonal

Position Summary: During the Vended Services programming season (Spring-Fall), the Program Facilitator implements quality youth programming, which includes school camps, community-based programs, and support of the Wyman Leaders program on an “As Needed” basis. Most work will be onsite in Eureka. Occasionally, could be requested to work off site at various locations.

Job Type: Part-Time

Position Summary: This role is a part time member of Wyman’s Camp Services team and will have split duties including food services and facilities housekeeping. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking quality nutritious meals for school camp groups, hospitality groups, development/fundraising events, summer camp groups, and staff as needed. Additionally, this role supports basic and routine deep cleaning of facilities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for visitors, youth and team members.
